Useful as a sub-pipe for other scraping pipes. For an example of how to use it to populate the description of an item with the contents of the meta description tag, see http://pipes.yahoo.com/randyrockman/usgslandslides .

Twitter Search Results Aggregator

Takes a comma delimeted list of search terms and returns results from Twitter's search. You can put more complicated search terms including those with negative keywords in quotation marks (for example "chocolate -snickers",twix,"Mars -planet -space -lander"). Tried to have ability to exclude a delimited list of Twitter usernames, but couldn't make it work with the loop operator. You can modify it easily to exclude a few if desired, or hard code it. This pipe also attempts to parse links and turn @replies into links as well, but no guarantees on the RegEx.

Northwest Landslide News

Geo-referenced news from OregonLive.com, SeattlePi.com and other news feeds containing the keywords "landslide", "debris flow", "rockfall", and "mudslide". I like to add a tag or description of the blog or feed name to each item's title. This pipe is useful when inserted into another pipe and you can hard code the feed URL and the label you wish to add. I tried using the channel info from the feed, but I just had too many problems. Note: There's a problem with my regex and some non-standard characters tend to muck up the title. If anyone has any comments on how to fix it, let me know.
