Everyone is looking forward to tonight’s show but it is surreal that it is all coming to an end.

So here we are , the last 3 dates of the tour and what better place to
finish than New York in a fabulous ballroom? The last time I was here
with Kylie we met the truly legendary Blossom Dearie who is sadly no
longer with us. We had just recorded the songs for “White Diamond” and
wanted to give her a copy, she was so lovely and still very much a
true professional – “You Are There” remains one of my favorite things
we have ever done together.
Sarah [Musical Director] and the band are so excited about the last 3 shows though – we
have had such an incredible response throughout North America I’m sure
New York will live up to its reputation. Also I will be on Larry
Flick’s Breakfast Show tomorrow morning (Monday 9-10.30) and will have
an exclusive play of the “Speakerphone” tour version studio mix which
a lot of people have been asking to hear as well as chatting to Larry
who I have know for many years and has always been a huge Kylie fan.

We have finally landed in NYC. The buzz is high. All the crew are so excited. Getting off the bus and seeing the hustle and bustle of NYC really makes your heart race.

Everyone is out to get dinner – who would stay in for room service, we are in an amazing city!

Just got into Chicago ready for tonight’s show -really looking forward
to it. We are all still on such a high from Las Vegas and The
Hollywood Bowl both of which were a dream come true. The “White
Diamond” section was particularly special in LA as the window on stage
had the Hollywood sign in it as a backdrop to Kylie reclining on her
sofa accompanied by her two faithful panthers. Also in LA we decided
at the last minute to put the “Intimate And Live” version of “I Should
Be So Lucky” into the show as it would be the first time she has ever
performed that version in America. Of course she sang it so
beautifully and the crowd response was unbelievable. Both shows were
truly magical and a testament to all the hard work everyone has put in
to get there. Someone said she lit up the sky – I agree with that
completely. So incredibly proud of her.

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who entered the Speakerphone video competition. Kylie was thrilled by the response and the effort that everyone went to.

Although there were many fantastic entries (lots of talented fans out there!) Kylie finally choose Rudolph Pap to be winner. We are sure you will all agree that this video is fantastic and is a deserving winner!

Upon hearing the great news from Kylie.com about his winning video Rudolf said: “I’m so honoured Kylie chose me to be the winner. I just want to say a big thank you for Kylie for being such an inspiration. I’m so happy because I was able to create my first work about her, so because of this it’s even more precious and special to me! It definitely made my passion stronger about animating. Keep up the amazing work you do Kylie, I’ll work hard too!”

Tomorrow is a day off as we hit Chicago and enjoy some blues. I am sure we will have no shortage of impressive sights to see. And have no doubt, that everyone is ready for some rest and relaxation. Thank goodness.

After an amazing show in Los Vegas last night, Kamp Kylie surfaced bright and early this morning and boarded a plane to Los Angeles.

A quick stop at the hotel to unload bags and now we are at the beautiful Hollywood Bowl. The sun is shining and the breeze is gently blowing.

We can’t wait!

Show day is finally here! It seems so long ago that we first started putting this together but all of the hard work and planning is about to be realized. Also we are so lucky to have the incredible Gary Bradshaw (Take That/George Michael) mixing for us – it sounds unbelievable! Just a few final tweaks to do this afternoon and then we are all set – we pride ourselves on attention to detail in every area so concentrating on the final 5% of sprinkles and sparkles makes all the difference. Plus of course we have the best live performer in the world to inspire us all – a pure white diamond.

Just about to watch the first full dress rehearsal this afternoon – so exciting to see all the elements come together, its such an incredible show. The fabulous band from “KylieX” are back (Sarah, Matt, Jenni, Adrian, Roxy, Blevins, Flowers and Barnaby) with the addition of the beautiful and talented Lucita Jules. Thanks so much for the comments on the new tour versions of songs which are all exclusive to the North America show – really pleased you like what we have done. I’m sure there will be a few more sneak peaks coming soon.
