Graphics Designer needed asap for print and web ads.
Work from home office.
Designer will receive a bundle of 5 ads. Some are camera ready, some need work and some are from scratch. Once completed/verified/adjusted to fit our print specs, we will send to advertiser. Advertiser can have up to 3 total proofs.

We will pay $7.00 per ad ($35.00 per bundle) via PayPal within 24 hours of receiving ads from designer in the following formats: CS4, PDF and web display. FYI - our current designers average 12 minutes per ad display. Most just need adjusting or verifying print specs. Most that are created from scratch are variations of the advertisers business card or website.

Title: Web Developer and Administrator

Work Schedule: Part-time

Reports to: Director of Development

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Director of Development and direction of office staff, the Web Developer and Administrator will be responsible for all website maintenance, revisions and page additions. This individual must be industrious, efficient, deadline oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keep all online content error free, up to date, and visually consistent
Develop new website pages as needed for special events, etc.
Coordinate communications surrounding the site updates and/or new content (interoffice memorandums, etc.)
Interpret site analytics providing tracking analysis of website traffic, and recommending site changes based on collected data
Develop a manual of standard operating instructions and procedures related to the job
Participate in staff meetings
Create new email accounts as needed

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one year experience
Knowledge of PHP and HTML programming
Extensive use of the Adobe CS2 (InDesign and PhotoShop a MUST!)
Must be familiar with server side functions
Content editing skills (proposed text changes as needed for new website content)
Strong oral and written communication skills

In preparing for the 5th Annual Fall Wine Cornucopia event, we are pleased to welcome the return of our Fall Wine Cornucopia Poster Art Contest.

Winning art will be featured as the official artwork of the 2009 Fall Wine Cornucopia, and used in all marketing campaigns and promotion. Art will also be lithographed, reproduced, signed by the artist, and featured for sale at the Fall Wine Cornucopia on Sunday, October 25th, 2009. Net proceeds will be split between the San Joaquin Valley Winegrowers’ Association and the artist. All artists will be invited to display their art at the 5th Annual Fall Wine Cornucopia.

JOB: Graphic Design Internship
Organization: Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County
Department: Marketing Department

This internship will give the intern valuable real-world experience in print and web design, as well as providing the Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County with additional manpower.

The intern will work at least 10 hours per week during summer 2009, for a minimum of 60 hours. Those hours may be worked in any combination at the discretion of the intern and the supervisor.

The intern is considered an integral part of the marketing department and as such, their ideas and input will be valued.

Payment will be the items produced that the intern can put into their portfolio, as well as real-world work experience.

At the end of the internship, the intern will fill out a written evaluation of the program, and the intern's supervisor will fill out a written evaluation of the intern's abilities and progress. The supervisor can be used as a reference for future job search.

The district-wide eligibility list, which will be valid for at least one year, will be used to fill full-time positions in this classification. The current vacancy is at Reedley College.

Definition: Under direction plans, develops, and implements a program of internal and external communications and public relations.

Compensation: Starts at $5,163 per month. Full-time permanent positions provide an attractive benefit package which includes health, dental and vision coverage for the employee and eligible dependents, as well as life insurance and disability coverage for employees.

Experience: Experience in journalism with various segments of the media and some public relations experience.

Of those candidates achieving a passing score on this exam, only the 12 highest scoring candidates, plus ties, will be invited to an oral appraisal board interview (50% weight). Passing score is 75% out of 100% on each testing section.
