It's Saturday again. Wake up at 12 noon, having lunch, listening to songs, watching movie and taking a nap. These were what I have been doing in these 7.5 hours. Feel not happy over the things I have done until now. No satisfaction and sense of achievement. There should be some meaningful things that I want to do, but I don't know what is it. Afraid of getting old without doing anything.

Still In "Down" Period

Still haven't recover from "Down" period although it have been more than half a year. Have no idea when and how it get started. Having negative thoughts most of the time. Feeling lost. All the things that supposed to be done were not done. Can't get myself motivated to do anything. How long I have to be in this state? How am I able to get myself out of this? How come I feel no more fun in this world? Feel like there's nothing that can make me interested and excited anymore. There's nothing remain other than the empty shell of a shape of human, a breathing empty shell. Sometimes, I really afraid to wake up from sleep. When I'm awake, all those negative thoughts come haunting me again.

Going to have my final exam for this semester on 19th and 20th May. But I'm still wavering around. I have no idea about what I have done all these time. Supposedly, I should be studying by now. But somehow I'm here writing nonsenses in my blog, which I had neglected for a long period. Really hope somehow I'm able to get myself motivated to study.

Finally, final exams are over for me. For some of the students, probably their last paper will be on 11th Jan. Somehow, this time I didn’t feel excited about the 3 weeks holiday. For the previous holidays, I would always imagine what to do during the holiday and feel excited about it before the holiday is around the corner. But I don’t feel that way this time. Probably this is because of all the unhappy stuffs happened on me and also the people around me.

One of the unhappy stuffs is related to E107B. All the housemates except Nath are going to move. I’m also the one of them. At first, I never thought of this to happen. One of the reasons is that the owner of the house is going to increase the rental from RM1500 to RM1800. The moment the housemates decided to move out, somehow I feel unhappy. I never thought that the moment we stay together will end so soon. Even though, we have been staying together for almost a year, I feel that we have just staying together for a couple of months. Today, I will be finishing up the packing all my stuff. The next time I come to E107B will be just taking all my stuff after my new accommodation is confirmed. Nath faced quite a serious problem. 7 of his future housemates pulled out from E107B at the last minute, the moment the agreement is almost to be signed.(Hope Nath will solve this problem ASAP.)

I have been wondering. All those unhappy stuffs, are they related to my problematic personality? I have caused the people around me to worry about me. Here, I would like to thank them for concerning about me and sorry for worrying about me. At the last, I was the one who make others worry. Will it be fine for me to stay with my new housemate? I’m just afraid I might bring more problems to them. Sad Christmas, sad Awal Murharram and sad New Year. Soon it will be Chinese New Year and my 22nd birthday, will it will be still a sad one? Hope all those unhappy stuffs will be gone in a short time.

The Nameless Monster

Once upon a time, there lived a nameless monster.
The monster was dying to have a name so badly.
So the monster decided to set out on a journey to find itself a name.
But the world was such a large place.
So the monster split into two and went on to two seperate journeys.
One went to the East and the other went to the west.

The monster that went to the east found a village.
There was a blacksmith at the village entrance.
"Mr.Blacksmith, please give me your name" said the monster.
"I can't give you my name" replied the blacksmith.
"If you give me your name I will jump inside you and make you stronger in return." said the monster.
"Really? I'll give you my name if you can make me stronger.", the blacksmith told the monster.
The monster jumped inside the blacksmith.
The monster became Otto the blacksmith.
Otto the blacksmith was the strongest man in the village.
But one day he said:"Look at me! Look at me!"
"The monster inside of me has grown this big!"

A song is the same as human being,or should I say living being. It need both rhythm and lyric for it to be a song. Both of them are very important. Rhythm resembles the soul of the song while the lyric resembles the body of the song. Can you imagine a song without rhythm or a song without lyric?

A song without lyric will be like a wandering soul. It don't have any solid form. Maybe someday it will just disappear to the thin air. The feeling the composer want to share cannot be conveyed efficiently.

A song without rhythm will be like a robot. It don't have its own thought and expression. Everything is programmed for the beginning. The message the writer want to deliver cannot be sent efficiently.

Both lyric and rhythm should compatible to each other. The mood and the feeling should probably be the same. You can't just put a feminine soul in a guy body or a masculine soul in a girl. It will turn out to be weird.

That's all of what I think of "song". All these are just barely my own thoughts.

ATM...
The first thing that comes to your mind...
Is it the automated teller machine(ATM) which you can do transactions related to money such as withdrawing money from your saving? I believe most people will think of that in the very first thought.

Well...
I would like to tell you all that my family have our very own ATM also. Do you all believe that? This ATM is quite special that you can't find it anywhere else as the normal ATM do. And this ATM has different elaboration from the normal ATM(automated teller machine). The ATM of my family stands for Alan Tony Mickson.

The English names given to me and my brothers by our parents.
The eldest son, Alan(me) followed by his younger brother(Tony) and then the youngest brother(Mickson). I'm not sure whether people who know family well do aware of this or not. Haha. I think the answer most probably will be "NO". I just thought of this not long ago. There's nothing special about it. Just want to let you all know about it.

I wonder what's in my parents' mind when they try hard to get us an English name. I'm sure that they never thought of using ATM to get ideas for the name of their sons. Haha. I think this would be another coincidence in my life. Haha.

Walking Forward

Walking forward......
It have been 5 years and I feel like I'm still standing at the same spot, never been moving even a single step. Watching everyone that I know and near to me walking forward, I feel happy for them as they are able to move forward and able to keep on evolving themselves to become a better person. But somehow I feel lonely and insecure. Everyone pass by and move forward. All I can do is just standing there and watch their back. Back then,I told myself that someday I'll be able to walk side by side with them.

Am I able to start to walk again? Will the day come? Is it because I never tried hard or I'm not even trying? What I can do is that keep on asking myself the questions over and over. But I never try to seek for those answers. I'm really happy from them, as they are able to move on from their yesterday. Maybe they had gone through many hardships that I didn't know for them to achieve what they have today.

It's better for someone else to be born to this world instead of me, as what I do is just waste and rot away the life given to me, and draging everyone down. I'm so useless and weak. I feel lucky to have known all of them, but it's their bad luck to have known me.

Wahh... It's more than a month since the last post. Haha. Didn't update the blog for such a long time without noticing it. Hehe. What keep me from updating this blog? Study hard for final exam which started from 6th Oct until 13th Oct? Well... that wasn't what I did. All I did were gaming, watching anime and other stuffs that were not related to studies. Just barely study for final exam at the last minute.(Hope I won't get very very bad results.)

I think that there will be no other post after this for a moment as I'm having my holiday from 20th Oct to 9th Nov. During the time, I might be gaming again. Play PS2 for the whole time or online game, Nostale. Haha. For PS2, I have thought to play the games that I haven't completed. The games that are in my mind now are Mana Khemia, Atelier Iris 3, P3 FES and... . I'm going to try out the new Dynasty Warrior also. Well, till then.

Nice to see from the outside but cacat from the inside
The floor will be very watery after raining
You can learn how to drift with your kaki

FIT building has one mini grand hall
Transparent glass + good air con service
A lot of girls learn Yoga di sini
A lot of guys will pass by accidently

FOE buiding is a good place to keep fit
Air con service can help you to be more skinny
Fatties can keep fit for free
Skinny people like me will become mummy

FCM building is a good place to play hide and seek
the cafe tauke is so greedy
one chicken + vege + rice must be 4ringgit
also have to see him happy or not happy

Cafeteria beside the library has a lot of food that you can eat

Swimming pool here is still new and pretty

MMU Cyber has a lot of trees
is an ideal place to live for uncle n aunty
every morning got people to play taichi
every nite oso got people to go for jogging
sometimes you can hear people shouting
thier mind stuck or because they cannot pee?
i only know i can't get a good sleep because of these monkeys

If you live in hostel you better pray harder
can you live without water and electricity?
sometimes your door can't open and you have to find axe to 'hantam' kasi jadi
hostel admin always say they will settle until the mosquito also sleeping

If you live in Cyberia then you are lucky
you will be healthier because you walk like crazy
the road to there is so gelap and scarry at night
a romantic place for couples and robbers.

No doubt MMU got leng lui
but those International student easily can let you 'si'
mangali also looks like Bollywood celebrity
Malaysian guys how to find girl friend di sini?

MMU also got leng chai
but leng chai here are Otaku
they like thier online games / anime more than anything
they dunno who is Jessica Alba but Nana or Dota is their honey

Drivers here are well manners and friendly
they are lovely darling that should be awarded a kiss
they will wait for you to cross the zebra line patiently
unlike drivers in KL all so 'kia shu' and 'kia si'.

MMU is a good place to study
juz that the academic fees are scarry
you have to call PTPTN as your daddy
and JPA or Yayasan can be your mummy.

Lecturers here are good and pretty
especially the Hanae Nakamura who teach Japanese language
too bad she is married and got people saw her walking with her little cutie son happily.
a lot of guy's heart break because of this.

I swear everything from the above is truth and no cheating
please don't sue me because i 'kia si'

7 months old

Time passed so fast. In a blink of eye, this new-born family is already 7 months old. In these pass 7 months, quite many things happened, good and bad stuffs. Although it's only 7 months, I feel like I have been in this family for years. This family means a lot and special to me. Different people from different places, family backgrounds, etc. formed this family while continue their objective of life(maybe will be graduating from MMU for now).

Each of the members has their own personalities and specialities. I feel lucky to be one of the members of this family. There are always laugh in this family. I'm happy that I'm able to meet and get to know each of the members as I learned a lot of things from them.

I hope that this family will continue forever(which is not possible). If the day for us to say goodbye to each other comes, I hope that each of us can remember the memories that we had together for the rest of our life and keep in touch.

Adults = Mature?

I have a question for all here. Human tend to get mature through the growing process, but why it seems that the more mature(or should I use the word 'age') they are, the longer they hold their grudge on, and they tend to remember all the bad things about the person they hate and what they have done to them. Sometimes the grudge is carried over from one generation to the next(just like what happen in some of the TVB dramas).

But, look at the children, they get along again in a short time after they fight or quarrel. No matter how serious the problem is, they tend to be friend to each other again. The time needed to get along again becomes longer as we get older.

So, why is there such difference exist? Is it the difference in the problem that they face? Is it adults are more mature and children are more innocent? Is it because the adults know more about the reality? Is it because adults feel less secured?

It is so rare to hear that children fight each other until serious injuries. But what about adults? Hurting each other with things that are able to hurt. From sharp weapons up to military weapons. Fighting with each other just to satisfy their own desire(territory, fame, wealth, etc), causing problems to all in the end. Adults can be consider to be more educated(religion teaching, knowledge, moral and ethics) than children, so why all these happens? Corruptions, crimes, wars and more. Why is that the history keep on repeating the same thing over and over again? Don't they feel bored with the same thing that repeat for thousand years?

Coincidence or Fate??

Here I would like to talk about the things that happened between me and my best friend, Stephen. There are quite many coincidence happened between us. The coincidences began since the first day of me entering MMU Malacca(February 2006). That time we were having Foundation course for one year(3 trimester) before we can proceed to our desired Degree course. The first coincidence was that we were assigned to the same orientation group. (My memories about the Orientation Week wasn't that clear.) Then I get to know that we lived in the same place, Emerald Park(sort of apartment for rent to MMU students), the same building and same block. I lived a floor higher than Stephen. One more coincidence is that both of us stayed in the first room of our respective unit(the room nearest to the main door of the unit). Both of us are IT students and there are some slight connection between our desired Degree course. (Mine is Software Engineering & Game Design while Stephen's is Software & Animation). Both of the courses are only available in MMU Cyberjaya.

The first class started the next day the Orientation Week ended. I attended my first class(Mathematics subject if not wrong). Someday during the first week, I get to know that we were in the same group section, PT40, which means we will meet each other until the end of the Foundation course. The first week ended. I bought bus ticket to go back to my hometown, Ayer Tawar(Perak). I reached Malacca Sentral. While waiting for the bus, i saw Stephen. He was also waiting for bus to go back to Ipoh(Perak). The bus we took is not the same but both of them departed at the same time, 9p.m.

The first trimester ends soon, we planned to move to the other block to stay with our friend(big brother), Siong. Our application approved. Second trimester, we stayed in our new room. Only two of us, although the room was supposed to be shared by three person. Third trimester, the room still shared by both of us. During the third trimester, we need to decide what Degree course to take as this trimester is the last trimester of the Foundation course. Most of our friends choose the course that they like since the beginning of the Foundation course. Me and Stephen also the same. Knowing that both of us would go to MMU Cyberjaya for our Degree course, we applied for hostel together. First trimester of Degree course, both of us managed to get place in the hostel, in the same room.

This is all that I'm able to remember for now. So, are these all just coincidences? Or fate? Or did I think too much? Anyway, what I'm clear about is that I will not meet Stephen if I didn't insist on going to MMU to study in the first place.

Eating mixed rice (pack from MMU hostel) as my lunch today while listening to Individual System by Tetra Fang. Maybe get too carried away by the song, so I start to juggle my pillow while chewing food in my mouth. Juggled, juggled and juggled. Juggled to hard, ending up landing my pillow on my mixed rice. The mixed rice bounced all over the place; my table, floor and also my bed. Even on my laptop. Luckily, I almost finished the mixed rice, if not, it will be a waste. Then I did all the cleaning stuff. T_T

.............Feel very tired nw..coz ''laosai'' for few hours juz after celebrating looi and surianti's birthday at Putrajaya's ALAMANDA...never been here before and never thought ones who brought there was taukeh ayam (known in a.t, s'wan, manjung but not in KL becoz he oli wears seat belt in KL)...who's him? I guess u probably knw la...:)

............sth funny to share...this taukeh actually doesn't knw how to go to ALAMANDA..but just drive drive drive...even kena tipu a few times by someone (doesn't want to name here)...there's one time when he stopped at traffic light, he instructed "signal" to driver in a car besides him)..however, a passenger's who sat besides the driver in that car was the one who responded to him..then hor, that passenger (the driver's friend) told the driver...then hor, the driver looked at taukeh...then hor, dsl used hand language to ask him wind down his car's window to ask him whether he knw how to go ALAMANDA or not...then hor...u knw what's the driver did actually? he opened his car door and wanna come out from his car..gosh!!! How could him decide to come down at traffic light??? Whatever la, he oso tak tau after taukeh tirelessly signaled him to open the car window..

Recently, really has nothing to do while waiting for my research apparatus and the arrival of required ingredients. Actually, my research has started officially last week after submitting and presenting my proposal, yet I have not started it. So, I spent most of my time downloading albums and finished up one of the dramas ~Immigrant Department (ID). This drama quite nice lo but need to be patient as it becomes nicer and nicer as it goes along..

Today, I was extremely shocked when I found out that my weigh has increased tremendously from 69 kg to 72.5 kg. Ooh gosh...I noticed it only when I voluntarily became a subject in my friends' research (they were doing survey type)...Reli shocked since I just measured my weigh on 19th July 2009 and it was 69 kg! What have I done until my weigh increased lots. I wonder...Perhaps I had taken lots of fatty food in a buffet dinner few days ago...or perhaps the measuring instrument should be blamed(not accurate enough) lol...

Just went back awhile after tiring for a half day. I think I really did something crazy today in which I started to queue up at 1 p.m(though the match is scheduled to start at 5.30 p.m). What to do since there were so many people queued up before 1 p.m. Everyone wants to get a ''feng shui'' seat, so definitely will do whatever to achieve it.

Really happy and excited today. A dream comes true to me though it wasn't in Old Traffold. Can't imagine that I would able to witness myself, most of the first team players of Manchester United who turned out in Bukit Jalil Stadium today. So so excited lol, having be able to see some great players like Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Berbatov and Van der Sar. Though it was just a training, there were approximately 30, 000 fans who turned out there. All the fans were so supportive, I do think the players will definitely be suprised lol.

No pictures to upload here, will upload some pictures next time coz all inside Jenan's camera. 3x zoom is not enough. Perhaps binocular or 10x zoom camera oli will do. I'm thinking that it will be great if I have hc's camera. Haha. Hopefully can see better on tomorrow live match between Malaysia XI and ManUtd.

Fishy is actually comes from my first name Yu(mandarin..people use to call me Ikan Yu(shark) during primary school time.. I’m the youngest in my family and hence the most naughtiest and playful one..I don’t like to study when I was young(primary school) and hence I always spend my time lepak with those kids who aged younger than in neighborhood.. Football is my passion…Not only playing, but I love watching football very very much...I can’t live without it.. Planned three activities with looi today...but all failed...sigh sigh

1st activity: Climbing at Bukit Busuk (failed coz of raining)

haha..wat a lucky day for me :D stepping my foots at the top floor of 1utama shopping mall. i was thinking of watching the poker king at that time...surprise came when i was queuing waiting for my turn for ticketing, a girl wearing red t-shirt approched me and handed me phobia2 preview screening tickets..i was shocked at first and i guess she realised that. In order to make things clear..she started to introduce herself by saying she is Red Fm's crew..and the movie tickets is totally free.. i was just like " oh"..haha..silly girl having silly response.!.

Everyone is alive with chatter of earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 on the Richter scale that hit off Sumatra at 6.16pm just now.
A tsunami watch has been issued for Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and India.
i feel nothing.. Nothing moved.
The water in the aquarium did not slosh about. The doors did not rattle.
i was driving on the road at that time..
everything seems so normal..
Having myself to stuck in the traffic jam with the busy thinking mind..
everything was just like usual..

looking at friends around me who are real in love with their partners,
being together as a couple for 4 years, 6 years,7 years, and even 9 years..
they have gone through thousand of obstacles together, supporting each other,
giving each other endless kindness, and the most important thing is..
the care that they gave for each other..

to hold a relationship for such a long period..i would said that its really a hard work.

it needs unwavering patience to stay up long and the bond of love.

two different creature by god..
a boy and a girl,
with totally different characters, personalities, interests and background.
they bumped into each other, be a part of each other and a part of their soul.
love is not measurable, it is all incompassing.
although,
it exits by the day to day annoyances and disagreements,
they are days that they make each other crazy and there are things that they annoy the other..
but those things never affect their love for each other.
is it true that the longer you are with someone you love ,
the more comfortable you become and the better you understand that person.
so in that way, your relationship become stronger.
do you agree with this talk?
or its somehow the other way round.
the more you go through together, the more history you had and the more experiences you shared,... the more quarrels and disagrees you both will had.

love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. no man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century.

to have a positive thinking rather than disillusionment is how they maintain their relationship.

Almost everyone feels nervous before an exam.

Butterflies in the stomach and worrying thoughts -

'Will I be able to answer the questions?' 'Have I done enough revision?' -

are indications of exam nerves that are probably familiar to all students.

In fact, a certain amount of nervous tension probably helps us perform to the best of our ability, producing a rush of adrenaline that helps us to feel alert and focused.

But too much anxiety can BLOCK thoughts, create a negative frame of mind, and lead to panic and potentially poor exam performance.

There are a number of things you can do to help manage exam anxiety and turn uncomfortable, panicky thoughts into more creative tension.

Anxiety management techniques

Thought-stopping technique
When we become anxious we begin to have negative thoughts ('I can't answer anything', 'I'm going to panic' etc). If this is happening, halt the spiralling thoughts by mentally shouting 'STOP!'. Or picture a road STOP sign, or traffic lights on red. Once you have literally stopped the thoughts, you can continue planning, or practise a relaxation technique.

Creating mild pain
Pain effectively overrides all other thoughts and impulses. Even very mild pain - such as lightly pressing your fingernails into your palm - can block feelings of anxiety. Some people find it helpful to place an elastic band around one wrist, and lightly twang it when they are becoming anxious.

Focusing
Looking out of the window, noticing the number of people with red hair, counting the number of desks in each row... all help to distract your attention from anxious thoughts and keep your mind busy. Mental games such as making words out of another word or title, using alphabetical lists etc are all good forms of distraction.

Bridging objects
It can help to carry or wear something with positive associations with another person or place. Touching this bridging object can be comforting in its own right, then allow yourself a few minutes to think about the person or situation which makes you feel good. This can have a really calming effect.

Self-talk
In exam anxiety or panic we often give ourselves negative messages, 'I can't do this' 'I'm going to fail' 'I'm useless'. Try to consciously replace these with positive, encouraging thoughts: 'This is just anxiety, it can't harm me', 'Relax, concentrate, it's going to be OK', 'I'm getting there, nearly over'.

if you ask me wat have i done in this sem break....
haha...this is a good question..
Basically, nothing much except sleep and eat...
However..my sem break started to be meaningful and enjoyable since last few days..
guess what..
i visited 2 states in just 2 days...
huh...tired!!
i went to penang with my mum and uncle yesterday...
and you cant believe that it was just 1 day trip...
Morever...it was last minutes planning...

penang:
went kek lok si temple, loong kee ( Red Bean Biscuit ),
Pragin mall ( we were lost, so went here for lunch )..
we enjoyed our dinner ( Bak kut teh ) before rush back..
it was a regret for not going QueensBay Mall...sigh...as we were running out of time.
reached home around 11.30pm..
thanks steven for giving me direction thru phone..

then,
the second day after penang...
we drove to Cameron highlands...
haha....so you can imagine how was the conditions....

Cameron Highlands:
went to butterfly farms, Bee Farms ( Of course we do grab some honey !)
and the most excited part....
we went strawberry farms ( yea, my fav)
and we did pluck our own strawberry...
we did went to a temple ( forgot what the temple called)..keke
reached home at 11pm ..

im super duper tired right now!!

We celebrate valentine's day every year on the 14th of February with our beloved...
However, i believe most of us dont understand the legend behide...Let's have a read on how this special day begun..

The romantic festival of Valentine's Day is said to have originated in pagan times in Rome when people celebrated annual fertility festival called Feast of Lupercalia in mid-February.
A unique custom of the festival was the mating of young boys and girls for a year through a lottery system. Quite often the couple would fall in love and marry. Strongly associated with the festival of Valentine's Day are the legends of three or more Saint Valentine of Rome. One of the most popular legends says, Valentine or Valentinus lived in Rome when the country was under the reign of Emperor Claudius II. It is said that Claudius engaged Rome in several unpopular and bloody campaigns.
To maintain a strong army, Claudius continuously needed to recruit soldiers. But to his disappointment Claudius found that most men were unwilling to join army because of their strong attachment with their wives and their families.
To get rid of the problem, Claudius banned all marriages and engagements in Rome.
A romantic at heart priest, Valentine, secretly arranged marriages of young boys and girls and defied this unjustified and callous order of Claudius.
When the Emperor discovered this defiance, he put Valentine behind bars and he was finally executed on February 14, about 270 AD.
For his great service, Valentine was named a saint after his death. By Middle Ages, Saint Valentine became the patron saint of love and lovers in England and France.
In 498 AD, when Pope Gelasius decided to put an end to pagan celebration of Feast of Lupercalia, he declared that 14th February be celebrated as St Valentine's Day.
Some scholars however, say, romance was linked with Valentine's Day because of the popular belief in England and France during the Middle Ages that birds began to start looking for their mate from 14th February.

Selangor Shines Extreme Challenge

Ahaksss...have not participated in any of the adventure challenge before.
This was the first time joining and have wanted to gain experience of it actually.

Well, without proper training and joining for fun to gain experience and in the end gotta walked like "king kong" the next few days after the challenge...haha...

The route was kinda far from one check point to another with some challenging task to be accomplished at each and every check points which kicked off at Dataran Shah Alam.
--> Running around Taman Tasik Permai: 3 rounds
--> Orienteering: 10 control markers
--> Swimming at Pusat Akuatik
--> Wall Climbing at Shah Alam Extreme Park
--> Water Craft at Taman Rekreasi Raja Lumu

Real damn tiring going around Shah Alam in foot...!!!
Dataran Shah Alam --> Taman Rekreasi Permai --> Bukit Suk Shah Alam --> Concorde Hotel -->Seksyen 9 --> Pusat Akuatik --> Stadium Malawati --> Stadium Shah Alam --> Shah Alam Extreme Park --> Seksyen 11 & 12 --> Taman Rekreasi Raja Lumu --> Wisma MBSA --> Quality Hotel --> Taman Rekreasi Permai

But then, together with my partner...we can't make it in 4 hours time so only managed to finish up till Check Point 3: wall climbing at Shah Alam Extreme Park...
Anyway, it's one of the memorable moments with uni friends participating in such event.

Kem Pemantapan Fasilitator Muda UPSI Siri 3

Location : Sungai Chiling, Selangor

One of the places which I have ever wanted to go and explore.
This chance came when a friend of mine was handling a Facilitator Camp at this place and invited me to join in.
At the same time, to help her out with the outdoor camp setting and assist the participants during outdoor activities.

This place is only open during weekends and as such the group got the permission to enter the camp site on Friday evening for the camp setup.

On the first day (24 September 2010), the participants were divided into a few groups for the camp setup of which they need to setup the tents, setup the cooking area, setup the electricity source using generator and etc.

On the second day (25 September 2010), they had all the talk sessions by the counselor in charge and also having group activities.

Where else on the final day (26 September 2010), we all went to the fall of Sungai Chiling which is only accessible by crossing the river for 6 times.

One of the events with Kenaboi Adventure Team before the end of my semester in UPSI and also preparing for the final exam.

It was an event of a one day trip program by the students from Institut Perguruan Bahasa Antarabangsa (IPBA), Kuala Lumpur.

The events went on were caving and tubing with assistance from the whole Kenaboi Adventure Team (KAT) as usual.

Now here is something special to be shared...

During my outdoor outing last weekend in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan at Kampung Chennah...

I saw something that really surprised me and remind me of my childhood memories although there was no shouting of "a...li...ma...li...po...oh...oh...oh..."

When I was at there, the Malays children were holding the lantern...

Going around...walking around...cycling around...with the lantern...

Something I have not seen even when I was in my hometown during my childhood life...

So, this is what we call Malaysia...1 Malaysia...

For the first time in my life as a Malaysian, I went out for a celebration for our Independence Day with friends from UPSI and getting along with new outdoor friends (all over from KL, Selangor, Port Dickson, Batu Pahat, Ipoh)...

We celebrated the day at Broga Hill with more than 50 participants on top of the hill.
Went up hiking the hill after "berbuka" and while waiting for the time to struck at 12:00am, there were BBQ and entertainment up there.

Other than that, of course for the Muslims they did not forget their "solat terawih"...
So, for outdoor people there is always a way on how to fulfill the responsibility as a God's follower.

When the time struck, firecrackers and fireworks were all around and what I'm impressed most at that time was the singing of our national anthem by all of us.
This shows that we are truly Malaysian regardless of who we are and where we are from...

Last but not least, there was also an additional event which is to raise some fund for an eight years old child suffering from nerve cancer (http://adamstumor.blogspot.com/)...

Around 1:30am we went down and gather at a "mamak" restaurant for some drink and even "sahur" then everybody went their own way back to the respective destination.

One of my memorable Merdeka Celebration in my life...

Caving with Kenaboi Adventure Team (2+1 Teams)

Was kinda busy and that's why being late in updating this post.
There were 3 teams altogether having activities at the Sungai Kekabu campsite from 31 July 2010 to 1 August 2010.

2 of the teams which were in smaller group combined together for the caving and tubing activities where else the other team is 1 single big group (the Motibina group)...
I was together with the Motibina group for the whole program.

This group was the very first big group to have caving activity at here.
They consisted of young children (the youngest at 6 years old) and adults (family group with colleagues)...

It was kinda adventurous and challenging event for this group during the caving activity as there were various level and group of people (special child as well)...

It was so great to see this group in such a high motivated environment with a very strong supporting bond among them in going through all the obstacles and difficulties.
A big applause to this group as it is not an easy task for first timers like them...

Although they were very tired and kinda down in mental halfway of the trip but in the end everybody is satisfied and enjoy it...
I also enjoy joining this group and get to exchange view with some of them at night before they went to sleep and get ready for the next activity on the following day...thank you...

Yesterday was attending a class at the faculty's microteaching room.
While waiting for the lecturer to arrive, I was looking down from the second floor of the building.

Down there...there were some children playing around at the playground.
Some were on the swing...
Some were on the slide...
Some just running around chasing each other...

When looking at those happy faces of the children, do remind me of my childhood days...
There were no worries...
There were no tension...
There were no problems...
Those days were filled with enjoyment and happiness mingling around with friends...

How I wish that the condition now is fill with all the happiness with no worries...
But then yea...we get older day by day and definitely more challenging obstacles for us to go through...

Live the life and go through it with positive approach...
Back then was just memories left...
Live in the reality now and move forward...
More await ahead...

Joining the Kenaboi Adventure Team (KAT) bringing "mat salleh" for a nature trip.
They were brought to the orang asli settlement at Kampung London then to the Kijang Waterfall.

Then back to the campsite for lunch break and giving them an experience on Malaysia's local fruit --> durian.
After lunch, a short trekking to the famous and so called "AVATAR TREE"...
Ended their trip with a tubing session which was up to level 2 and 3 difficulty.

After sending brother to Malaya University, the next day busy packing up my stuff...
Huhu...a lot of stuff also yea and this was just a part not 100% yet...

Took me a few hours (what to keep...what to throw...what to recycle...)
In between running around with no purpose...haha...

If I'm not mistaken, started the operation since 5:30pm and everything was done by around 11:30pm...huhu...

Ipoh - MU - Ipoh

Departed from Ipoh at 0525 hour, to send my brother for registration at Malaya University (MU)...
After sending him and when everything is done with the registration stuff, we directly went back home to Ipoh (back at Ipoh at 1300 hour).

It was a rainy day during our journey back to Ipoh...
I was amazed to see the special nature created by God...

So some shots all the way from Tanjung Malim to Ipoh...
Especially on the view of the Titiwangsa Range...

So gotta packed up all my stuff that night because on the 3rd of July 2010 we gotta moved out of the rented apartment.

Hmm...don't know why I always take a long time to pack up my stuff...
It took me a few hours to get everything packed up...hehe...

So after packing up all my stuff, did get some of it onto my car in the middle of the night...

Was on my final last week of industrial training with the Game Analysis Centre in National Sports Institute of Malaysia.

My head department and the staff of my department planned out an outing for me before I leave them.
So they planned for a bowling game at Sunway Pyramid.

Departed from Bukit Jalil around 8:30pm and back at home about 1:30am...
Was enjoying the moment very much with all of them...
It was a great outing with them and for the first time get to have all of them gather together in such event... (Thank you very much to them...)

Was having my industrial training at the National Sports Institute of Malaysia (ISN) from 10 May 2010 to 2 July 2010.

This gate will be closed at 6pm everyday, so when ever I'm late to come out from the office then I will need to use another gate which is some distance from my car parked outside there.

There was once I was waiting for my friend in my car.
Suddenly I saw her coming out of the gate and I was surprised as there is no other gate to go through from there after 6pm unless the other one which is some distance away...

So she told me that we can actually go through in between the gap of the gate.
It was unbelievable at first for me but then when I tried to go through on this particular day (29 & 30 June 2010) then only I believe it...haha...

It was all because lazy to use the other gate...
So just squeeze through the gap of the gate (luckily was thin enough to go through it)...hahaha... :-)

It was a last minute sudden plan by a friend of mine during my industrial training period in Bukit Jalil (my final weekend there).

Actually have nothing going on for that particular weekend so after my friend suggested to go for a hike at Broga Hill and since I have not been there too, so we went on with our plan...

Met up at Kajang Metropoint around 4:30pm then continue on to our destination which we reached at about 5pm.

Went up there for some shots as well of course and were waiting for the sunset view but not so lucky.
Anyway, was enjoying the hike because I got to capture some nice shots...

Although not using a DSLR camera but still got to capture some nice moments spent there with my friends...

Ampang Look Out Point

Pass by this place last year during my Kayaking final outing to Kenaboi, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan.

I got attracted to this place because of the nice night scenery and view of Kuala Lumpur which we can see very clearly from this area.

Ever since then, have always want to get to this place enjoy the scenery and at last on this day during my industrial training period of time I got the chance to reached at Ampang Look Out Point for my very first time.

Was so lucky that night because in the evening it was raining so at night the sky will be very clear.
Yeah, when I reached at the destination it was really very clear but then I did not have a better proper quality camera to capture the best shot of the clean and clear view of Kuala Lumpur.

BTAR June 2010 Camp

This is the 4th camp for me as one of the family members of the Tunku Scholars.
The name of the program for this camp is "TEAM DYNAMIC PROGRAM".

This camp is totally being handled by Encik Muhammad Abu Bakar.
I learned a lot from this camp especially on setting my own mindset and how not to be influenced by the structure around us...

One of the enjoying camp ever and was so happy get to meet up with other Tunku Scholars (we only get to meet up twice a year)...

I have been late in updating my blog...hehe...
Ok then, so during the period of my industrial training in Bukit Jalil as usual if I have the chance surely I will get myself into the nature...

It was a camp for the athletes of the Ministry of Higher Education before they are off to their game competition...
Was there to assist the Kenaboi Adventure Team (KAT) where applicable...

So on Friday (11/6/2010) after working hours, I got myself ready and off to the camp site...
Their camp was for 2 days only, so on Saturday night and Sunday our team just stayed at the camp site and relax and clean and clear...

Woke up as usual at 6:30am and get ready to get to work.
But on this lucky day, when I wanted to get out from the toilet after I am done with my stuff...the door knob can't be turned.

I tried and tried for several times but it just stucked there (can't be turned)...
When my friends woke up and came out from their room, I called out for help.
Was hoping that they get to open it from outside but was not successful as well.

After trying with various methods, we can't get it opened.
So at last, my friends went out to get help from the fireman as the fire station is just nearby our area.

It's been a while when I last update my blog...

This time around, need to attend industrial training during the semester break.
Having my industrial training at National Sports Institute of Malaysia, Bukit Jalil (10 May 2010-2 July 2010)...

So on the 9th of May 2010, moved into the rented apartment with some of my stuff.
Well, the place is still new (Taman LTAT, Bukit Jalil...somewhere near the fire station) so it was an empty apartment without any furniture.
Anyway, will be staying for only 8 weeks so don't really mind.

As there is no cupboard and it's completely an empty room, so I came up with such idea to hang my clothes...hehe...

Kursus Kayak Politeknik Kota Melaka bersama Kenaboi Adventure Team

End of the lecture weeks and the starting of the study week.
Went to the camp site to have a look and offered help on the Kursus Kayak of Politeknik Kota Melaka being handled by the Kenaboi Adventure Team.

More on observing how they handle the camp especially on the first and second days.
Then on the last day, shared more with the participants during their hands-on experience of white water kayaking for beginners.
