I'm a student from a Infobotic Reseach Group and I need to edit the graphic BPMN's meta-model to create some elements i want, because I want to use them after on my diagrams. May I do that with soyatec's eBPMN software? Where should I edit that meta-model?

you can install the latest modeler by adding this update site URL:
http://download.eclipse.org/stp/bpmn-modeler/1.0.2/updates

It fixes that issue in particular.

Hi all,

I have the same problem as RÃŽmulo Arpini.
I am still a begginner on Eclipse, ok. Then I downloaded Eclipse
Version: 3.4.2. I wanted to use the BMPM modeler, so I went to software
update, typed BPMN and installed 'bpmn project feature'. So I created a
project and then a bpmn diagram. But when I try to use a flow connector
between two elements (process, gateways, and so on) the editor crashes
and I get several errors in the log. And then it stays like this:

Yeah, exactly like that. Every time I try the arrow stays on the top
left. I've tried everything. Downloaded again, installed every stp
component, but no success at all.

Anyone here know how to solve this? : (

It's a pity. So I should code the tracking methode on my own. I've once
read that you said that your metamodel out of the ecore set was highly
customized in the source code. Do you have an uml diagram or something
like that which represents the internal model of how you saved and
structured the data of an bpmn diagram?

Yeah, of course everything is specified, no worries on that.

AFAIK there's no traversal implementation for this.
Given that the Resource is a tree, you can probably read it with a
TreeIterator,
keep the elements that are of interest and build an object model from
there, or
track the start event and follow its connections.

I decided to update my version of Eclipse from Europa to Ganymede,
install the BPMN Modeller and import my previously created modelling
projects. When opening any of the .bpmn_diagram files I get the follwing
message:

Could not open the editor: Corrupted model
org.eclipse.stp.bpmn.impl.ActivityImpl@42751f (iD:
_esSVUGrIEd2Dy6bT2xhPYQ) (documentation: null, name: S, ncname: null,
orderedMessages: [], activityType: EventStartEmpty, looping: <unset>)

Details reveal a null pointer exception. In the interest of brevity I
include only the first two lines:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at
org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.draw2d.ui.figures.BaseSlidableAnchor.hashCode(BaseSlidableAnchor.java:137)

Is there a problem transferring older files into the new system?
