Pharell Williams took time out his busy schedule to visit Edison High School in Miami, Florida to speak with students about the importance of striving for their goals and pushing to succeed. It was very important for Pharell to visit a school such as Edison High because it currently has a F average. School staff and students were very excited and thankful for his visit.

"The distance between where you are and where you want to be can be figured out through education," Williams said Monday to more than 900 students.

The goal is to stay "So Ambitious"!!

Robin Thicke Says it Was Jay-Z's Idea to Use Nicki Minaj on His Album "Sex Therapy"

Jay-Z lent his rhymes to Robin Thicke's album, but he also gave him a lot of input on the guest features as well. He recently sat down with MTV's Shaheem Reid and discussed the whole ordeal:

"It was Jay's idea," Thicke said about how Nicki Minaj came to be on "Shakin' It 4 Daddy." "We were in the studio, and I played him the whole album. He was like, 'You should get Nicki Minaj on that. She's got that voice. She's got that swag.' So I leaned over and was like, 'Somebody get Nicki Minaj on the phone! Jay-Z said so!' Next thing you know, we called Nicki.

Roc Boys: Wale Wonders if Pac Would Use Twitter, Honored at GQ Magazine Party [VIDEO]

Wale thinks out loud about the possibilities of an altered history if Twitter were in the mix during the East Coast vs. West Coast battles! This is teaser #2 from “The Next 48 Hours With Wale” a 3 part web series that goes behind the scenes during album release week of “Attention Deficit”.

Where were you when you got wind of the East Coast vs. West Coast beef when rappers Biggie and Tupac were still alive? Do you think the beef would have escalated the way it did if Twitter were in the mix? Would Tupac have a Twitter account?

Since we're takling about awesome rappers from different parts of the Continent, Wale, Drake and Kid Cudi have been honored by the prestigious men's magazine in a feature titled "Gangsta Killers."

"Anybody from Cleveland will tell you, I wasn't in the street," Kid Cudi said. "Ask them, they'll say, 'Scotty was the goofy class clown.' "

The article points out the contrast between songs about "duct-taped kilos, exotic firearms, and freaky girls" and the lyrics of this up-and-coming generation of rappers. Cudi's introspective raps have helped secure him a dedicated following that propelled his single, "Day N' Nite," into a top-five hit and stoner anthem, and his debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, sold over 100,000 thousand copies in its first week. Wale's attention to lyrical detail has established him as D.C.'s first major hip-hop artist, and his live show earned him a spot as the leader of this year's VMA house band and touring with Jay-Z. And Drake, whose So Far Gone mixtape and "Best I Ever Had" single made him the object of a label bidding war this summer, stood verse-for-verse with Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West on "Forever." -MTV News

Did you ever think you would see the day? Seems like forever that The Oprah Winfrey show has been on TV right?
Well Ms. Winfrey is expected to announce today that she will end her daytime "Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011 as she prepares to start her own cable network.

Her company Harpo announced that Oprah will explain her decision on her Friday's Live show today.
If you don't know she linked with Discovery Networks to start a new cable network: OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Talk about BOSS moves!

Besides that she also has a wide-ranging media empire. A book club that takes fairly unknown writers and turns them into best-sellers, her magazine O is in the nations top 10 in terms of sales, Harpo Studios produces shows hosted by Dr. Phil McGraw, celebrity chef Rachael Ray and now Dr. Oz. Then of course her own radio network as well....

Chris Brown Pays Homage to Michael Jackson During L.A. Tour Stop [VIDEO

It is no secret Chris Brown has been higly influenced by the King of Pop. His whole career pays homage to the best that ever did it. But when he passed away this past June, Breezy was neck deep in legal woes after the Rihanna assault to pay homage to his hero during the world wide memorial service held at the Staples Center in L.A.

With a brused image, Brown took a back seat at the memorial service watching various celebrities speak good words about the king, but anyone with a pulse knew Chris Brown should have been included in almost any festivities that would celebrate the life of Michael Jackson. He's one of the few people out today that could appropriately perform his moves as good as the King himself.

Finally, during a concert stop in L.A. during his Fan Appreciation tour, Breezy took to the stage what should have been brought months ago. Check out Chris Brown nailing those Michael Jackson moves in rememberance.
